Visiting Hill Top Farm and Beatrix Potter

I’ve been trying out the WordPress app on my phone, but it didn’t publish the words I wrote for this. only the photos, so here we go again.

We visited Hill Top Farm, the home of Beatrix Potter and a museum in Lake District. It was so much fun experiencing her peaceful and creative life after all of the stress and heartache of London. I felt like I really understood her a bit better after reading about her life, seeing the film “Miss Potter” and visiting her lovely country home.

So much fun!

And every home should have these adorable thread spool stools! :>

The Beauty of England

I keep saying I could live in any style of house you find in Ireland, and the same is true for England. Everything has so much character! It’s a nice change from Spanish houses everywhere!

And I just love this scene that reminds me of the Pevinsies in England before they head off to Narnia. There’s even a lamppost!

Hope you’re all having a great week!
